Anti-aging day cream for dry skin with SPF 15 As we age, our skin’s own production of Hyaluronic Acid decreases causing the skin to form wrinkles and look older. Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Day SPF 15 with 3x Effect formula counteracts this process: 1. Fills: High and low molecular acid moisturises and plumps up wrinkles. 2. Stimulates: The anti-oxidant, Saponin, activates the skin’s own Hyaluronic Acid production by up to 256% and protects the skin from free radicals. 3. Defends: Enoxolone decreases the degradation rate of Hyaluronic-Acid by more than 50%. Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Day SPF 15 addresses the first signs of ageing in dry skin. Hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic Acid is formed by skin cells and is part of the connective tissue of the skin. One of its key functions is to retain moisture, and it has the ability to bind in between 1,000 and 10,000 times its own weight in water (i.e. one gram binds between one and ten liters). As we age, the skin's natural ability to produce Hyaluronic Acid depletes and wrinkles start to form and deepen.
Glycine Saponin, also known as Glycine Soja Germ Extract, is an active ingredient extracted from the soya bean. It is one of the most effective stimulators of Hyaluronic Acid in cells in the dermal layer of skin and has been proven to increase Hyaluronic Acid production by up to 256% on cell level*.

At what age should I start using Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler?
Our skin is as different as we are, so the answer to that question varies from person to person and depends on many factors both internal (such as our genetics) and external (such as the amount of sun our skin has been exposed to). As a general rule, the first signs of aging such as fine lines and wrinkles start to appear in our 30s and that is when we recommend you start using the Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler range. If you are in any doubt please read our article on facial skin at different ages or consult a pharmacist or dermatologist.
Why does Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Day SPF 15 contain UVA and UVB protection?
Facial skin is more exposed to sun than skin on the body and is vulnerable to harmful UVA and UVB rays which can cause premature aging. It’s important to protect skin to avoid DNA damage, photoaging (premature sin aging caused by the sun) and hyperpigmentation, so our formula has SPF15 and a UVA filter built in. However, if you intend to prolong your exposure or the sun is strong, we recommend you use additional protection such as Eucerin Sun Fluid Anti-Age SPF30 or SPF50.
I love Eucerin products, but not with SPF 15.
Is a daily moisturizer with SPF 15 enough sun protection for your face? If you plan to stay inside during the day then it may give you adequate sun protection for what little sun comes in windows (which will be UVA so you need broad spectrum protection), or bounces in from an open door. If, however, you plan to be outside for more than a quick run to your car, then that daily moisturizer with SPF 15 is just giving you a false sense of sun protection security and your skin's getting new sun damage! So please don’t waste your money buying face cream with SPF 15!
