I am very satisfied with the scrub. I use the peeling every two days. The skin feels very smooth after cleaning, without irritating or drying out.
'Skin peel for blemish-prone skin
Eucerin DermoPurifyer Oil Control Scrub is an oil-free skin peel with Lactic Acid that removes impurities without drying out the skin. Suitable for face and body, the exfoliating action of natural micro particles works against dead skin cells − one of the key causes of blackheads and spots − and gently cleanses skin and removes make-up. Learn more about how to exfoliate your skin.
Pores are unclogged, impurities and blackheads are reduced and skin texture is visibly smooth and refined.
The product has been specially formulated for oily and blemish-prone skin which is not undergoing medication and can be used during pregnancy.

We recommend you use the scrub once a week, instead of the Cleansing Gel. However, due to its mild formula the product is suitable for daily use so you can use it more frequently.
Can I use Eucerin DermoPurifyer Oil Control Scrub alongside the Eucerin DermoPurifyer Oil Control Resurfacing Treatment?
Yes. You can use the Scrub once a week while using Eucerin DermoPurifyer Oil Control Resurfacing Treatment.
Do I need to use Eucerin DermoPurifyer Oil Control Cleansing Gel before the Scrub?
No. Use Eucerin DermoPurifyer Oil Control Scrub instead of your usual cleanser but be sure to remove any eye make-up (try Eucerin DermoPurifyer Oil Control Micellar Cleansing Water) before using the scrub and be careful not to get the scrub in your eyes.
I’ve previously used the Eucerin Dermopure Scrub. What is the difference between that and Eucerin DermoPurifyer Oil Control Scrub?
We’ve changed the fragrance, the name and the packaging. The active ingredients in the formula remain the same.
Is blemished skin caused by poor hygiene?
No. There are a lot of myths surrounding the causes and triggers of blemished skin and poor hygiene is one of them. Blemish-prone skin is not a sign of poor hygiene. On the contrary, washing skin too frequently with aggressive cleansing products can irritate skin even more. We recommend that you cleanse your face twice a day using mild cleansers specially formulated for oily, blemish-prone skin and which clinically and dermatologically proven to remove excess sebum, sweat and dead skin cells without drying skin. It’s also important not to fiddle with your spots and to keep your hands away from your face.
Will my blemishes clear up by themselves as I get older?
For many people, blemished skin clears after puberty but there are also people over 30 who are still suffering from blemished skin. If your skin condition doesn’t improve please consult a dermatologist.
Can the pill help to prevent/heal blemished skin?
Blemished skin is associated with hormonal imbalances which can cause the sebaceous gland follicles to become more sensitive. For this reason, a contraceptive with an anti-androgen hormonal element can help. If you are in any doubt, consult your dermatologist or gynecologist.
Can I use the scrub while I’m undergoing medical treatment for blemished skin?
We do not recommend that you use the scrub while you are having medical treatment for blemished skin as medications such as Isotretinoin, Benzoyl Peroxide and Antibiotics all make your skin more sensitive. Use Eucerin DermoPurifyer Oil Control Cleansing Gel or Eucerin DermoPurifyer Oil Control Micellar Cleansing Water instead.
Does the product contain micro plastics?
Eucerin has made a significant step towards more environmentally-friendly products and does not use any microbeads made of polyethylene (PE). The cellulose particles that we use are a mixture of microcrystalline cellulose and silicon dioxide particles. These particles are gentle and skin-friendly and deliver the same results as less environmentally-friendly micro plastic alternatives.
