Keep out of the sun as much as possible after a chemical peel, laser treatment or if you are taking photosensitive medication, and apply a very high SPF (50+).
Don’t forget that even sun protection products with very high Sun Protection Factors (SPFs) do not offer 100% protection.
Avoid sunbathing when the sun is at its highest.
Keep babies and toddlers younger than three out of direct sunlight.
Children should wear protective clothing and a very high SPF in the sun.
Cover up with clothing, a sun hat and sunglasses for protection.
Apply sunscreen before you go out in the sun. Reapply at regular intervals, especially after swimming.
Adults should use products that are suitable for their skin type and that offer high or very high protection.
