The Eucerin Hypersensitive Skin range help manage the three signs that are consistent for hypersensitive skin - a weakened skin barrier, hyper-reactivity and irritation. In developing its UltraSensitive and AntiRedness subranges Eucerin took a holistic skincare approach to what they term the Hypersensitive Skin Triangle, developing products that addressed each need.
As hypersensitive skin typically has a weakened skin barrier and it is more prone to irritation and hyper-reactivity activated by irritants. This results in unpleasant sensations which have been subjectively described as, among other things, stinging or burning.
Eucerin UltraSensitive Soothing Care for Normal to Combination is recommended for hypersensitive skin where the main skin problem is an unpleasant skin feel with no visible signs of redness.

Anti-contamination packaging
All products in the Eucerin Hypersensitive Skin range use anti-contamination packaging to protect the formulas from impurities and oxidation. This packaging addresses three key risk areas: the valves, component connections and the functionality of dispensing. The valves have sterilising filters, the connections are ultra-welded for tightness and the dispenser has an ultra tight tip seal.

Clinical and dermatological studies prove excellent efficacy and high tolerability on hypersensitive skin.
To assess the efficacy of Eucerin UltraSensitive Soothing Care a self-assessment study was carried out among 53 women (19-60 years) with sensitive to very sensitive skin. The product was applied twice daily for 4 weeks in a split face design.
Improvements in perceived sensitivity and reactivity were reported. Other significant improvements included: increase of skin comfort, reduction of skin tightness, reduction of skin dryness, increase evenness of the skin.

No. If you have sensitive skin with redness and need a day cream with UV protection, try Eucerin AntiRedness Concealing Day Cream SPF 25. Alternatively all products in the Eucerin SUN range have been tested on sensitive skin.
