Eucerin has developed two subranges for hypersensitive skin - UltraSensitive and AntiREedness -with each product addressing the three signs that are consistent with the hypersensitive skin: a weakened skin barrier, hyper-reactivity and irritation. The Eucerin Hypersensitive Skin subranges offer a holistic skin care approach to help manage each of the signs in this Hypersensitive Skin Triangle.
UltraSensitive Cream for Dry Skin is recommended for hypersensitive skin where the main perceived feeling is of burning, stinging or itchiness but with no visible signs of redness. Applied after cleansing, it instantly hydrates, calms and soothes dry, hypersensitive skin on the face, neck and décolleté giving long-lasting skin comfort while special waxes in the cream leave skin feeling nourished and moisturised.
As hypersensitive skin characterised by a compromised skin barrier this makes the underlying sensory fibres react faster and much stronger to stressors. This irritation causes the unpleasant sensations and redness typical in hypersensitive skin. This rich soothing care formula contains SymSitive*, the first active dermocosmetic ingredient that targets the root cause of skin's hyper-reactivity. SymSitive* effectively acts as a sensitivity regulator, lowering the activation of the sensitive sensory fibres in the epidermis.
Eucerin UltraSensitive Soothing Care Dry skin not only soothes hypersensitive dry skin instantly but, over time, it helps to protect the skin barrier and increase the skin's tolerance threshold.

Anti-contamination packaging
All products in the Eucerin Hypersensitive Skin ranges use anti-contamination packaging to protect the formulas from impurities and oxidation. This packaging addresses three key risk areas: the valves, component connections and the functionality of dispensing. The valves have sterilising filters, the connections are ultra-welded for tightness and the dispenser has an ultra tight tip seal.
