- Fills: High and low molecular acid moisturises and plumps up wrinkles.

How they work together
At the heart of Eucerin’s unique Hyaluron-Filler formula is a unique combination of high and low molecular Hyaluronic Acid:
- High molecular Hyaluronic Acid (also known as long-chained Hyaluronic Acid) remains on skin’s surface to improve hydration in the outermost layer of the epidermis – where fine lines and winkles originate.
- The molecules in low molecular Hyaluronic Acid (also known as short-chained Hyaluronic Acid) are 40 times smaller1 than those of high molecular Hyaluronic Acid and so it is able to penetrate further into the epidermal layers where it stimulates skin’s own production of Hyaluronic Acid.
In most of the formulas, Hyaluronic Acid is combined with bio-active anti-oxidant Glycine Saponin which penetrates even deeper, into the dermal layers of skin, stimulating the production of Hyaluronic Acid and replenishing moisture where deeper wrinkles originate. Furthermore, it protects the skin from free radicals.
The Next Generation Hyaluron-Filler formula also contains Enoxolone, an active ingredient that slows down the degradation rate of skin’s own Hyaluronic Acid by inhibiting Hyaluronidase.

While our skin is as individual as we are, and skin ages differently depending on our genetics and lifestyle, these normally start to appear around the age of 30. Why does Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Eye Cream SPF15 contain UVA and UVB protection?
Facial skin is more exposed to sun than skin on the body and is vulnerable to harmful UVA and UVB rays which can cause premature ageing. It’s important to protect skin in the delicate eye area to avoid DNA damage, photoageing (premature skin ageing caused by the sun) and hyperpigmentation, so our formula has SPF15 and a UVA filter built in.

Both are effective anti-ageing eye creams with added UV protection and are suitable for all skin types. Both also contain Hylauronic Acid but in different forms to suit different skin needs.
Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Eye SPF15 also contains Glycine Saponin which supports Hyaluronic Acid production in the cells of the dermal layer where the deepest wrinkles form. Furthermore, it contains Enoxolone which slows down the degradation rate of Hyaluronic Acid. This means that if wrinkles are your primary ageing concern then Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Eye SPF15 is likely to be the most effective treatment for the delicate skin around your eyes.
As skin matures further it starts to sag and lose volume.
